Design My Floor Plan is the controller of personal information it receives through this website. Questions and applicable privacy-rights requests can be sent to privacy@designmyfloorplan.com.

Image and PDF preparation, room tracing, calibration, editing, and project export run in your browser. The app does not send your source file, room geometry, furniture layout, project name, or exports to an AI service, analytics service, or Design My Floor Plan upload endpoint.

Room geometry, furniture layouts, assumptions, source underlays, and one previous save checkpoint can be stored in this browser's IndexedDB. The offline app shell can also be cached on this device. This is device storage, not a cloud account. Browser storage can be cleared or evicted, so export important projects as a backup.

When you request a page, the hosting and security providers may process ordinary technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, date and time, requested URL, referring page, response status, and security events. This data is used only to deliver, protect, troubleshoot, and maintain the site. The legal basis, where required, is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure service and taking steps you request to provide it.

We do not use this data for advertising, cross-site tracking, or behavioral profiling. A production hosting provider and its log retention period will be identified here when deployment is chosen; the operator should configure the shortest practical retention.

Some product cards can request a thumbnail directly from an Amazon image host with a no-referrer policy. Amazon may receive ordinary request metadata such as your IP address, browser information, and the image requested, but not your plan or project data. A product or evidence page contacts Amazon only after you click its clearly labeled external link. Those direct links currently contain no affiliate tag.

The app does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not use tracking pixels, so there is no non-essential cookie consent banner. It does use local browser storage for the features described above. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals do not change the site's behavior. We continue to treat those signals as a request not to engage in those activities.

We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use sensitive personal information. We do not receive your locally stored project. Limited service-delivery data may be disclosed to infrastructure and security providers acting for the operator, and ordinary request data goes to Amazon when an Amazon image loads or you follow an Amazon link. We do not knowingly disclose personal information for other commercial purposes.

Delete a project from Saved projects, or clear this site's browser data to remove local projects, source files, and caches. Project JSON exports contain the validated scene and provenance but not the original source file. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information we hold, to appeal a decision, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. Email privacy@designmyfloorplan.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Because local project data never reaches us, only you can access or delete it from your browser.

This general-audience planning tool is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child sent personal information to the service can contact the privacy address above.

Keeping plans local reduces exposure, but no browser, device, or web delivery system is perfectly secure. Service providers may process technical request data in the United States or other places where they operate, subject to the safeguards required for the production deployment. We will update this notice when practices materially change and will post the new effective date here.
