Accessibility
Room planning should work for more people.
We want people with disabilities to be able to plan a room, understand measurements, and recover their work. Accessibility is part of the product, not an optional overlay.
Our approach
We aim to follow WCAG 2.2 Level AA guidance where it applies. The app uses semantic controls, visible focus states, keyboard-operable workflows, text labels in addition to color, responsive layouts, reduced-motion preferences, and accessible names for interactive planner objects.
How we test
Core landing, policy, planner, modal, import, and save-or-discard flows receive automated accessibility checks and keyboard-focused browser QA. Automated checks cannot find every barrier, so this statement is not a claim of perfect conformance or legal certification.
Known limitations
Precise freeform room tracing and visual 3D navigation can require spatial judgment. Equivalent numeric editing, named object controls, keyboard movement, and a structured inspector are provided where practical. Complex imported floor-plan images may still be difficult to interpret without vision.

Email support@designmyfloorplan.com with the page or workflow, what you were trying to do, your browser and assistive technology, and the format you need. Please do not attach a private floor plan unless support specifically requests it and you are authorized to share it. We will make a good-faith effort to provide an accessible alternative and correct reproducible barriers.
